Custom Orders
When you order a custom hunting map there will be a $50.00 custom mapping fee, along with the cost of the map, and shipping & handling fees.
The $50.00 custom mapping fee will include: Cities or towns, Hunting unit, Landownership, Topographic map shaded or not shaded, and a road layer with road numbers.
The roads will be illustrated in two ways: Highways will be in orange/Red and all other roads will be a single black line. The road numbers will be placed next to the road without any backing or highlight. The map will be created at the scale that we agree upon and the legend will give you a key to identify the landownership, the roads, map scale, north arrow, declination, and Datum.
These custom maps are not predesigned or mass produced we create them after we get your order. Normally a map of this quality would cost $175 just to produce and then the cost of the maps. We have created a hunting database of the western states that allows us to cut the cost down, but yet provide a high quality, one of a kind product. We try to have these custom orders created and in your hands within two weeks from the time you place the order.
Special Instructions: If you want any other information or detailed work done to your custom map we charge a $35.00 hour fee for any work beyond what we have list above.
Guarantee: This custom mapping process is complex and deals with multiple layers of information stacked on each other, which requires getting the right balance so that the layers are visible when printing the maps. On occasion we may make a mistake that leaves off some data (data listed above) and if this happens let us know and we will reprint the order with the corrections and get it out to you at no cost. Our goal is the highest quality of customer service and to provide you with the best product that we can so that you're happy. Being a hunter I know how important it is to have a good map of the area and we create each map as if we were going to be using it. We can not guarantee that the road or landownership data is the most accurate because we obtain this data from the state, counties, USFS, BLM, and city agencies. So the data is only as good as the people they have collecting it. We do spend a great deal of time doing everything with in our power to make sure it is accurate and the most up to date data available.
