Dark Canyon and Dark Canyon Plateau Maps
The following Dark Canyon maps cover from North Notch Trailhead in the east to Sundance Trail (Spanish Stairs) in the west. These maps are marked clearly with access points, water locations, and more. With “Dark Canyon & Peavine Canyon”, “Dark Canyon & Sundance Trail”, and the “Dark Canyon & Woodenshoe Canyon” maps you will have all the maps you need to hike from one end of Dark Canyon to the other. We have also covered the majority of all the side canyons that drain into Dark Canyon on these maps. These maps are detailed topographic maps, which are great for navigating this wonderful canyon. They are also waterproof and tear resistant. The Dark Canyon maps have a scale of 1:30,750 and the Fable Valley maps scale is 1:24,000.
Dark Canyon & Peavine Canyon: This map includes the following trails: The Notch Trailhead, Peavine Canyon OHV trail, Peavine Trail, Brush Knoll Trail, Rig Canyon Trail, and Dark Canyon Trail.
Dark Canyon & Sundance Trail: This map includes the following trails: Sundance Trail and Dark Canyon Trail.
Dark Canyon & Woodenshoe Canyon: This map includes the following trails: Woodenshoe Canyon Trail, Dark Canyon Trail, and Trail Canyon Trail.
Peavine Canyon & Dry Mesa: This map covers North Notch Trailhead, Horse Canyon, Rig Canyon, and Peavine Canyon Trails. It also shows the location of Doll House Ruin on Dry Mesa and some ruins that over look Rig Canyon. This map is a detailed topographic map, which is great for navigating this wonderful canyon. This map is also waterproof and tear resistant.
Fable Valley: This map shows you the Fable Valley trail and water locations in Fable Valley. Also, clearly marked on the map is one of the most spectacular cliff dwellings. In addition, there are several other canyon accesses illustrated on the map with county road numbers on the roads to assist you in finding the trailhead. This detailed topographic map is waterproof and tear resistant.
On our website you will have access to downloadable GPS files of the waypoints and tracks that are associated with a majority of our Trail Maps. We offer our customers three options when purchasing our maps: Option 1 – Purchase a downloadable map in a PDF format, Option 2 – Order a printed copy of the map, and Option 3 – Order both the PDF and the printed map. When adding your selection to the cart you will be able to select one of these options from a drop down list. (Note: Not all GPS files have corresponding maps, and not all printable maps have GPS files).
