Canyonlands National Park South: If you’re going to do some hiking in the Needles District then this map is a must have item. This map covers the entire Needles District from the Colorado River in the west to Salt Creek in the east. All the designated hiking and driving routes in this area are clearly marked. These routes include Elephant Hill, Salt Creek, Horse Canyon, Druid Arch Trail, and more. This detailed topographic map is waterproof and tear resistant. In order to cover this same area with USGS paper quads you would have to purchase at least six different quads.
